We strive to keep each service at 30-45 minutes. The newlywed services we spend about 45 minutes to an hour per service.

Our non refundable retainer to reserve your date upon booking is 50% of the total service cost.

There are times when we are hired for only hair or makeup. In those events we do charge a collaboration fee(Indiana only) for our artists to work with another licensed artist that isn't part of our team.

The short answer is no.

The detailed answer is that this company has been around for almost 2 decades with the same core team. We have extensive images of our work with all sorts of different styles, ethnicities and looks as well as a long list of reviews to help you decide if we are the right team for you. We offer only previews for our booked clients because that trust has been established that we will take care of you. Once you put your trust in us, we can serve you better and work together as a team to create something beautiful for you.

You do not need a preview to book us for your wedding. If you opt out of a preview prior to the event we will schedule a video or phone call to thoroughly discuss your wedding day look as well as schedule additional time on your wedding day look.

Yes! We love to travel. If you are eloping out of the country or marrying in a different state than Indie Bridal has artists based in, reach out to us. We can customize your quote and work with your budget to accommodate the travel costs required.

For Saturdays, we suggest booking 8 months to a year in advance.

For Fridays & Sundays, we suggest 6 months in advance.

For weekday elopements, we typically can accommodate 2-3 months in advance.

At Indie Bridal Co, the artist you meet with for your preview will be the same artist taking care of you on your wedding day.

We are happy to travel wherever we are needed. No limitation on location!

If airfare will be needed to accommodate your elopement please contact us to receive a customized quote for your event.

Leslie, owner of Indie Bridal Co. knows each artist personally and professionally where she takes into consideration which artist would be an ideal match for you based on your wedding day goals, location and inspiration images.

Weddings are stressful and to work on them as a career and not a hobby is only for those that truly LOVE working on weddings. Our artists are seasoned veterans and love what they do.

Our company Instagram has the most up-to-date images of our teams' work. Indie Bridal Co owner, Leslie can send you images of the artist’s work that match or are closely related to your inspiration images.

In most states a license by the state you live in is required to get paid to do hair/ makeup on people. The minimum hour requirement before taking a test is 1500 hours. That averages out to be just under a year of schooling full-time. Before any artist joins our team, our owner, Leslie, ensures they have real-world experience with clients outside of school, then they start a training program with Indie Bridal Co. The training includes model work, job shadowing and hands-on practice with the artists on the team. Each person on the team has been vetted by Indie Bridal Co owner Leslie before becoming an official team member.
