How it works

When you contact Indie Bridal Co you will be speaking with the company owner, Leslie, directly. If there are artists available for your date you will receive a price quote and, based on your desired wedding or elopement day look, Leslie will pair you up with an artist that is close in proximity to your location and will meet your needs best. After signing the newlywed agreement contract and paying 50% of the collective service cost for the retainer, you will officially be booked for your wedding day. Your wedding day goals will be shared with your artist and a preview date will be scheduled to meet with your artist.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • We strive to keep each service at 30 minutes. The bridal services we spend about 45 minutes per service.

  • You have the option of a trial with wedding day services or we often work with brides that are from out of state that do not have the time to get a trial. In those cases, we do a phone or video consultation and go over the best route for your wedding or elopement day look before we meet on your special day.

  • It is rare but it does happen when we outsource. There are other trusted wedding professions that we hire out on peak event dates. Oftentimes they come from other bridal teams in the local area.

  • Weddings and elopements are stressful and to work on them as a career and not a hobby is only for those that truly LOVE working on weddings. Our artists are seasoned veterans and love what they do.

  • Our retainer to reserve your date upon booking is 50% of the total service amount.

  • Our company Instagram has the most up-to-date images of our teams' work. Indie Bridal Co owner, Leslie can send you images of the artist’s work that match or are closely related to your inspiration images.

  • There are times when we are hired for only hair or makeup. In those events we require that the outside artist is licensed for their services to collaborate with them.

  • In most states a license by the state you live in is required to get paid to do hair/ makeup on people. The minimum hour requirement before taking a test is 1500 hours. That averages out to be just under a year of schooling full-time. Before any artist joins our team, our owner, Leslie, ensures they have real-world experience with clients outside of school, then they start a training program with Indie Bridal Co. The training includes model work, job shadowing and hands-on practice with the artists on the team. Each person on the team has been vetted by Indie Bridal Co owner Leslie before becoming an official team member.

  • It is imperative that you communicate your needs and wants. In situations where communication has been very transparent but the goal was not met, please reach out to the owner of Indie Bridal Co, Leslie to discuss a solution.

  • Yes! If you are unable to receive a trial before the event, you and your artist can schedule a video chat/phone call to discuss your newlywed look and how the prep will go.
